Ons skop hierdie jaar se Bibberfees af met die opening van ‘n kunsuitstalling deur ons eie kunstenaars en ook kunstenaars van naburige dorpe. Dis ‘n voorreg om hierdie mense in ons gemeenskap te hê. Die Vrydagaand voorspel om baie gesellig om die kaggelvuur te wees.

BibberChill 2009 draws closer with only 57 days before Ou Grietjie blasts off to announce the opening of Smithfield’s contribution to the province’s festival dates.
Although the festival will as usual be held at the Country Club on 27 June, it will officially get underway at the Red Barn on Friday night with an art exhibition by local and other artists.

This year’s BibberChill Fees/Festival takes place on Saturday, 27 June.
Gerhard Wilken has been elected chairman of the organising committee.
Planning meetings have been notable for the enthusiasm shown by people of all ages to ensure that this year the festival is at least as successful as last year.
